- Based in Utica, Michigan
- Chartered by the Knights of Columbus, St Lawrence Council #2950. Meet
in the back hall on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
- Parents meetings 1st Wednesday each month during troop
meeting
- Committee meetings 1st Tuesday each month 7:00 PM
- Part of the Clinton Valley Council Ojibwa District
- Chartered in 1942. 2006 starts the troop’s 64th year.
- Several scouts have reached the rank of EAGLE, the highest rank a youth
can achieve in scouting

- In late 2005, there were very few scouts coming to Troop 90 meetings and
the troop was in danger of disbanding.
- Several scouts and experienced adult leaders from a different troop
decided to start another troop.
- Recommended by the council to take over Troop 90
- Had trailer, camping equipment, charter, place to meet.
- Ex-Scoutmaster from the other troop became Scoutmaster of Troop 90.
- Most of boys in troop are “older” and have been friends for more than 3
years.

- Troop 90 has an annual dues for each scout of $52 which covers:
- Membership for the year
- Boys life magazine for each scout
- Each scout has an individual scout account where fund-raised money is
kept as it is earned by each scout
- Can be used for campouts
- Can be used to purchasing camping gear or scouting gear
- Can deposit money into account for convenience
- Troop90 has 1 primary fund-raiser
- Pancake breakfast in spring
- Other fundraisers (such as can collecting) are performed as needed

- The troop is always looking for volunteers to help plan activities and /
or become registered leaders
- Examples:
- Fundraising help
- Troop position
- Help with food for courts of honor
- Plan special events (family picnic in August)
- Objective is to have a 2nd in command for each key position
